Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Wastewater Process Engineer on behalf of a specialist Utilities Consultancy.
The Wastewater Process Engineer will be responsible for assessing the condition of Waste Water Treatment plants in order to prioritise and schedule future upgrade and maintenance works.
Role Description
- Working closely with a water utility company to assess the condition of a large number of Wastewater Treatment plants.
- Completing condition reports in order to identify and prioritise future upgrade and maintenance works for the sites.
- Inspecting the plant and equipment in a large number of Wastewater Treatment Plants as well as some water plants as required.
- Meet with Site Operators for a structured inspection interview.
- Carry out on-site inspection including a quality and functionality checklist and evaluation.
- Inputting of gathered information into the utility company’s database/computer system
Skills & Attributes
- Relevant Engineering qualification is preferred but not essential.
- HND qualification will be considered alongside relevant experience on-site at Wastewater Treatment Plants.
- Familiarity with M&E/equipment and processes in Wastewater Treatment Plants (Ideally Water Treatment Plants also).
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to form an opinion on the condition and adequacy of the various pieces of equipment.
- Full, clean driving licence.
