Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a manufacturing company who produce fire aspirating pipe and fittings for the worldwide fire trade. Their clients are based in the UK, Europe and worldwide. Established over 20 years, they are considered one of the world’s leading suppliers in the industry. They have manufacturing plants in Avonmouth and Kingswood.

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the production team based at the manufacturing plant in Avonmouth. The Warehouse Operative would be responsible for working on the manufacturing line to produce our range of aspirating pipe and fittings, monitoring the quality and supply levels of materials and packing our products to specific customer orders.

The Warehouse Operative would also be responsible for transporting raw materials and bulk stock between our two plants in Avonmouth and Kingswood (in the company van) and supporting the general warehouse team with packing our finished products to individual customer requirements.

The potential candidate would be part of a hardworking and good-humoured team who are passionate, driven and enthusiastic about creating our high quality product range for our clients.  They would provide full production training and supervision from their Production Manager for the first three months of the appointment.

The role would involve working a mixture of 8 hour shifts with regular breaks Monday to Friday on either an early 5am – 1pm or a late 11am – 7pm.

This is a permanent position, based in Avonmouth, paying £22k – £24k per annum + Christmas bonus + pension + 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + training.
