We are recruiting for a Site Maintenance Supervisor on behalf of a national multi-disciplinary Facilities Maintenance and Construction company.
The Site Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all reactive and PPM maintenance activities on a daily basis at the offices of a large global blue chip organisation.
Role Description
- Ensure that risk assessments and a safe system of works is evident for all tasks undertaken.
- Issue relevant permits required by sub-contractors before they are allowed to carry out work on site.
- Review all Risk assessments and Method statements from subcontractors.
- Review PPM tasks to ensure that all jobs are completed in line with KPI’s for the contract.
- Use PPM software to manage all Reactive and PPM jobs on site, ensuring that each job is recorded correctly and completed within the ‘Target Completion Time’.
- Liaise with all hard services sub-contractors and obtain best price and service for any jobs undertaken.
- Review manpower available to site to ensure all works are being completed by a suitably qualified tradesman.
- Liaise directly with key client representatives to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Undertake quality audits.
- Support the Continuous Improvement programme and identify issues to drive forward contract development
- Understand asset management information systems.
Skills & Attributes
- Qualified mechanical/HVAC engineer with F-Gas qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in computerised PPM systems, preferably Maximo.
- Experience of the co-ordination of all maintenance in relation to Building Services, including building fabric and structure.
- Working knowledge and experience of Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality systems.
- Experience in managing in-house and sub-contractors within agreed financial and time constraints.
- Experience in minor design and preparation of as fitted drawings.
- Working knowledge of statutory compliance and current legislation, regulations and standards.
- Good client and contractor management skills and a sound knowledge of Health & Safety Management.
- NEBOSH/IOSH or other Health and Safety qualification desirable.
