OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION
Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Pump Service Engineer on behalf of a reputable company who provide a wide range of pumps for commercial and industrial usage. They provide a range of services from design and surveying, to supply and installation, and service and maintenance.
Operating for over 30 years, they have grown significantly as a business and gained a reputable name for their high-quality work within the industry.
They work throughout Oxford, London and the Home Counties and offer their services to a range of sectors such as commercial, industrial, government and educational.
As the Pump Service Engineer, you will work on a range of pumps and associated equipment. This includes heating & chilled pumps, pressure boosting pumps, waste water pumps, pressurisation pumps and swimming pool pumps.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role and is based within a 20-mile radius of Oxford.
Specific in-house training will be provided.
Role Description
- Service/maintenance and installation in many sectors of the industry, domestic and commercial, such as HVAC, pressure boosting and underground pump stations.
- Carry out commissioning of new installations.
- Booster sets, pressurisation units, sewage and storm water stations.
- Pump overhaul and repairs to all major manufacturers’ units.
- Carrying out service work on sewage stations, storm water, booster sets, pressurisation units, pump
- Overhauling, Installation and Commissioning of all the above.
- Workshop based repair and overhaul of pumps and pumping equipment.
- Customer liaison and dealing with client queries.
- Installation and commissioning of booster set, pressurisation and submersible pump package stations.
Skills & Attributes
- General knowledge of pump and associated pumping equipment.
- 17th Edition Qualified.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Pro-active approach to work.
- Willingness to undertake additional training when necessary.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or an individual.

- Full UK Driving License.
