We are currently recruiting for an PSV Test Driver for a leading automotive manufacturer in the Sheffield area. Due to their continued success they are looking to add to their existing team to drive the business forward. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and help with the development of new products. Candidates will have a demonstrable background driving commercial vehicles and will hold a valid PSV License – HGV License would also be advantageous.
his is a permanent role based on day shifts Monday – Friday.

Interested candidates must be proactive with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Conduct road testing on re-powered electric buses / trucks
• Conduct pre and post use inspection reports
• Route planning to suit testing requirements
• Provide ‘Electric Driving’ experience to potential Customers at various locations
• Carry job tasks safely using good working practices
• Assist engineers in diagnosing faults and issues
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience:

• PSV licence essential
• HGV licence desirable
• To be diligent and thorough, seeing tasks through to the end
• Pro-active, innovative with the ability to thrive in challenging environments
• Ability to prioritise, organise and liaise across all departments
• Customer focused
• Willingness to work offsite and out of hours when required
• Excellent communicator
• Time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise
• Good Microsoft Office IT skills
