We have a new opportunity for a Powder Coating Manager to join an established British manufacturer of large-scale, bespoke garden equipment based in Oldham. The role will involve overseeing the planning, development and output of the powder coating and kitting teams.

As Powder Coating Manager, you will be responsible for the recruitment, inductions, health & safety standards, purchasing, stock control and quality standards of a two-shift operation. Candidates must possess previous experience of working in a managerial or supervisory role within a manufacturing, paint shop or powder coating environment.

Role Description:

• Responsible for two shifts of powder coating operatives
• Ensure products are completed and ready for dispatch on time
• Ensure products meet quality standards
• Purchasing & Stock Control
• Manage production schedules of both shifts
• Resolve any customer issues
• Compliance with Health & Safety Standards
• Training and Inductions for new staff

Skills & Attributes:

• Demonstrable Experience in powder coating/paint shop/manufacturing
• Management/Supervisor qualification or experience
• Ability to work to multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
• Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
