The Opportunity

Having recently successfully been awarded several new contracts this well-established and respected Mechanical & Electrical Contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator. You will be involved in putting together tender packages and estimates on a variety of projects from a few £000 up to £1M services value. Projects include commercial, hotels and leisure complex.

The Role

You will be working with in a small team of multi-disciplined Estimators and Design Engineers compiling tenders and Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Rates etc. You will be involved in pricing tenders, sub-contractor evaluation and comparisons, liaising closely with sub contractors when successful with a tender.

Tendering/ estimating design and build projects in the Building Service Industry on a range of project types.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a Mechanical Services Engineer with at least 2 years estimating experience gained with a Contractor. Ideally have experience of using estimating package such as Estimation, Ensign.
