We are recruiting for a Horizontal Borer to join a diverse client in a medium to heavy engineering environment on an temp – permanent basis on day shifts. Successful candidates must be time-served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications. All Overtime paid at Premium Rates –

The Ideal candidates will have :
-Experience working within a machine shop environment machining of both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances in either single or batch quantities and in a variety of steel grades.
– The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings. overhead crane operating experience
-The ability to manipulate any of the following:
BUTLER ELGAMILL (CNC Heidenhaim Control)
BUTLER ELGAMILL 270 Milling Machine (Manual)
KURAKI KBT IIWA Horizontal Borer (FANUC Series Control)

Optional – MAZAK HJB2200 JIG CENTRE Horizontal Borer (Mazatrol CAM M-2 Control)

Candidate Skills
-Ideally Time-served
-Demonstrable experience operating a Manual Horizontal Borer working to very tight tolerances.
