Overview

Due to continuous growth of the business we are currently looking for Commercial Gas Engineers & Air Conditioning Engineers to join the reactive maintenance department of a leading building and property maintenance contractor based in the North West.

With a team of over 50 trades staff, they are always investing in training for their engineers to make sure they are at the top of their profession. They are a well-respected name within the industry and received an average score of 99.9% customer satisfaction last year.

They cover a range of projects across the North West ranging up to £2.5 million in value. They have numerous contracts on commercial properties such as Restaurants, Universities and Retail establishments.

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience working within a Service role, ideally with exposure to working within commercial/ retail environments.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work on their own and manage their own workload. As the HVAC Engineer you will assist the reactive maintenance team is responding to client’s emergencies.

This position is available for an immediate start.

Role Description

• Installation & maintenance of Commercial Heating & Hot water systems.
• Carry out PPM on Air Conditioning & Commercial Heating Systems.
• Maintenance / Service of HVAC units.
• Carry out reactive repairs.
• Installation of other commercial gas systems such as Space heating & water heating etc.
• Make sure all reactive calls are closed out in line with sufficient time scales
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety legislation and company policy.

Skills & Attributes

• Experience working on commercial heating systems and air conditioning systems.
• Gas Safe Qualification along with Commercial certificates.
• Air Conditioning Qualification.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Pro-active approach to work.
• Willingness to undertake addition training when necessary.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or an individual.
