Apex Engineering Solutions is Employment Agency working on behalf of a well-established and respected national Mechanical & Electrical Contractor. Due to an increase in work load an exciting and interesting new opportunity has been created for an experienced Estimator. The role will involve putting together tender packages and estimates on a variety of commercial and industrial projects from a few £000 up to £1M services value.

The Position

A substantial increase in workload of this well-established and respected Building Services Contractor has created a need for an experienced Estimator.

Your duties will include estimation of major building services contracts of up to £1M value, including private and public sector projects. Using Luckins software to produce mechanical and electrical tenders for some of the largest and most prestigious projects in the region. Make accurate take-offs to deliver competitive tenders.

You will most likely be from a trades background, having worked on a range of commercial, educational and industrial projects.

You should have at least 2 years estimating experience with appropriate engineering/technical qualifications. As well as proven numerical and computer abilities.
