The Opportunity
The formation of a new division with this established Electrical contractor has created a new opportunity for a Small Works Manager. The position will be reporting to the Director, liaising with Clients and Contract Engineers.
The Position
The role will involve the following;
- Site Visits & Inspections
- Prepare Quotations up to £50k
- Preparation of Job Sheets
- Prepare List of Material for Buying Team
- Liaison with Clients during works
- Liaison with on Site Electricians during the works
- Final Inspection of works
- Preparation of all draft NICEIC Certificates
- Draft Invoices
- O&M Manuals
- Contact Client to discuss / agree remedial works
- Obtain Materials for works
- Plan the works, materials & access equipment
- Final inspection & sign off the works
- Update & Review ISO-9001-2015
- Preparation for Yearly ISO Audit
Essential Candidate Criteria
- Relevant electrical Contracting experience
- Professional & Courteous at all times
- Be able to work under pressure
- Dependable
- Proactive in their approach
- Forward thinking & positive attitude
- Good Organisational Skills & Communication Skills
