We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a growing manufacturing business in Sheffield on a permanent basis. The role will be to carry out all electrical maintenance on electrical plant and equipment. The successful candidate will be 17^th or 18^th edition qualified with demonstrable experience working within an Electrical Maintenance role within an Industrial environment, ideally within the Steel/wire drawing/ heavy manufacturing industry but this is not essential. This is a Monday to Friday days based role, available for an immediate start.

Role Description

• To carry out all planned and reactive maintenance to keep production output at a constant level.
  • To work to agreed engineering targets
  • To implement engineering work including maintenance, breakdowns & shutdowns
  • To drive forward continuous improvement of the production plant
  • Ensuring high levels of productivity on the production lines, and to maintain the integrity and safety of the plant as a whole.
  • Monitoring of items of plant which have been identified as inefficient or problematic, and to action or plan improvements.
  • Help with the Integration of new items of plant or process controls into existing facilities.
  • To assist with installation work, and to liaise or give assistance to contractors, as and when required, ensuring that site standards are strictly adhered to at all times.
  • Any other duties as and when required.Qualifications.

  – Must be Time Served in electrical maintenance
  – Candidates must have demonstrable experience working in an heavy manufacturing/steel manufacturing environment
  -17th or 18^th edition
