The Opportunity
Our client is an award winning leading M&E and Maintenance Contractor. Having secured various new contracts they are recruiting for several Approved Electricians to carry out work in the West Midlands and South Staffordshire region. The positions are within the Social Housing Sector.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out domestic electrical installations, rewires and upgrades
- EICR tests and associated repairs, Upgrades, board changes, Repair and maintenance
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have significant amount of recent experience working on domestic electrical installations, rewires and upgrades preferably including inspection and testing
- Must possess experience working on social housing schemes, preferably in tenanted properties
- Minimum requirements for the role:
- City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition wiring regulations (18th edition preferred)
- City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
- Computer literate and competent in the use of Word/Excel/Outlook
- Knowledgeable of current H & S legislation
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Supervisor experience
- Flexible approach to working hours dependent on the needs of the business
- Strong team player with the ability to work unsupervised
- Candidate must have a full driving license
