Our client, a leading manufacturer of highly technical equipment for the subsea industry are looking to recruit a Design Draughtsman to join the business on a permanent basis. This role has been created due to securing a number of new large scale projects which has made room for a new member of the team. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a design/ draughts role within a manufacturing environment with experience 3D modelling using AutoCAD and Solidworks. The successful candidate will be required to provide drawings, checking and also drawing support functions as required. This would suit a candidate who has progressed from the shop floor and understands engineering processes ( Machining/ Fabrication/ Assembly).Candidates must be minimum HNC/ ONC qualified in Electrical/ Hydraulic/ Mechanical Engineering.

Accountabilities:
•To provide design on all projects as required, within the timescales set by the company.
•Provide detail design on projects covering mechanical, electrical and hydraulic processes
•Prompt replies to production , logistical and technical support questions

Qualifications & Skills
* HNC / ONC Qualified in Electrical/ Hydraulic/ Mechanical Engineering
* Previous experience working within design environment.
* Experienced in the use of AutoCAD and Solidworks.
* Knowledge of manufacturing methods including Machining, Welding and Assembly.
