Overview
We are currently in the market for a Contract Compliance Manager for the West Bromwich area to work on behalf of a well established facilities company.
As the Compliance Manager you will liaise with the commercial team with the aim of procuring and delivering of chargeable additional works in the most cost effective manner.
You will be responsible to manage compliance within the company’s agreed methodology, governance and gateway approvals. You will take ownership of Health and Safety in your area of responsibility to ensure efficiency is managed throughout the supply chain of directly employed operatives.
Role Description
- Manage the delivery of planned maintenance being delivered by the supply chain
- Analyse and report of KPI performance for planned and reactive works
- Manage a small team of support staff who are monitoring supplier performance and small works delivery
- Be part of a wider network of managers and operatives involved with the delivery of additional and planned works
- Be required to liaise with the work place managers and operative on urgent additional works, draw support from them on the quality of supplier workmanship
- Provide regular performance reports covering, supplier performance, KPI attainment, improvement plans, commercial performance and forecasting
Skills & Attributes
- Proven track record in sub contract management
- Experience of negotiating to achieve best price and value for money across a wide range of services and projects
- Knowledge of large scale service / maintenance contracts, drawn from a practical background in either, Projects, Commercial management and Building services technical
- Experience of working in a busy challenging work environment and prioritising works
- Proficient in IT packages including MS Office, Excel, and Word etc
- Experience of working to NEC 3 suite contract specifications
- Have a strong customer service ethos
- Line management experience of a small team
- Commercial management experience
- Professionally recognised qualification (C&G, BIFM etc
- Professionally recognised H+S qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH etc)
- Excellent leadership and organisation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
