We are recruiting for a CNC Miller/ Turner to join our client on a contract basis working their site near Croydon. Due to securing a large order, we are looking for a skilled machinist to join the business until Feb 2017 .
The successful candidate must be time-served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications. Candidates will ideally have experience programming/ editing, setting and operating CNC lathes and Millers using Siemens controls. O/T available paid at premium rates

The Ideal candidates will have :
-Experience working within a machine shop environment machining a range of materials including Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass and Aluminium
-The ability to manipulate a CNC Miller and Lathe using Siemens Controls
– The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.

Candidate Skills
-Ideally Time-served Demonstrable experience operating a CNC Lathe and Miller
-Working to very tight tolerances.
-Previous experience working with Stainless/ Aluminium is advantageous
– Experience using Siemens Controls
