We are recruiting a CNC Machinist to join our prestigious client on a contract basis in North West Manchester This will initially be for 12 weeks but this may continue due to the large amount of work available. Successful candidates will ideally be time-served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications however those with demonstrable work experience will be considered.

Candidates will be required to work on CNC Lathes and Vertical Machining Centres utilising both Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.

Hours – Monday – Thurs 0745 – 1615 / Friday 0745 – 1245

Overtime available Monday to Saturday at x 1.5

The Ideal candidates will have :
-Experience working within a machine shop environment machining of both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances
-The ability to manipulate a CNC VTC / Lathe utilising Fanuc/ Mazatrol controls
– The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings. overhead crane operating experience

Candidate Skills
-Ideally Time-served  with demonstrable experience operating a CNC VTC/ Lathe, working to very tight tolerances.
– Experience using Fanuc/ Mazatrol controls

-Will have experience working on a range of materials including Stainless, Aluminium and Brass.
