Overview

We are currently recruiting for a CAD Engineer on behalf of a medium sized manufacturer of small electric drive systems.

This contract is expected to last around 6 months. We can be flexible on working hours to fit someone commuting or living away.

Responsibilities

We are looking to engage a contract CAD engineer to help work through a backlog of drawing updates + assist in delivering drawing packs for new products.

The ideal candidate will  be a highly motivated, determined CAD Engineer / technician who can undertake day-to-day Cad activities; creating drawing packages for new products and re-engineering existing products to improve manufacturability.

Skills and Attributes

• Good knowledge and experience in Solidworks 3D CAD Software.
• An engineering qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant area.
• Strong organisational skills to set and meet timescales.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
