I am currently recruiting for a Contract Engineer/ CAD Draughtsman to join a rapidly expanding engineering and manufacturing SME specialising in Ductwork, Ventilation and Fume Extraction.

Due to recent growth, we are looking for an ambitious Contract Engineer to join the already established Department

This role will require candidates to attend site to assess customer requirements and to provide design and quotations for all forms of ducting/ extraction systems within industrial environments.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience working within the Ducting/Ventilation industry alongside strong commercial skills and the ability to design ventilation systems.

Role Description
-Design and Estimation of Ducting/ Extraction systems.
– Liaising with clients/ contractors/ employees/ suppliers on daily basis
-Working in industrial properties
-Cost control and profitability
-Problem solving and testing, and ensuring clients needs are met
-Site visits
-Securing ongoing service and maintenance contracts

Skills & Attributes
-Experience in design and estimation of Ducting/ Extraction systems
-Demonstrable experience as a design or contract engineer
-Full UK Driving License
– Relevant Engineering qualifications (HNC/ HND)- Desirable
– AutoCAD Experience is advantageous but not essential
