We are currently recruiting for a number of BMS Controls Engineer on behalf of a nationwide HVAC and M&E service provider who are looking add to their existing service department covering the North West areas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a leading company who are continuing to grow in the current economic climate. Candidates must have demonstrable experience working within a BMS Controls Service / Maintenance role within commercial/ retail environments.

Candidates must be mechanically or electrically trained (17th/18th Edition advantageous) and have experience working with a variety of controls systems ( Trend/ Siemens etc) for the purposes of planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, commissioning and installation

This role is based Monday – Friday 0830 – 1700 with a large amount of overtime available paid at premium rates.

Company Vehicle and all PPE will be provided.

Salary up to £48k + 11% bonus

Role Description

• Visit multiple client sites in order to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of building controls
• You will offer excellent customer service and ensure a successful technical outcome of all site visits
• You will interact with clients to ensure their requirements are understood and advise on any faults or replacement parts required
• You will complete site reports in order to keep all site staff up to date on BMS details of operation

Skills & Attributes

– Time Served within a Mechanical or Electrical Discipline
– 17th or 18th Edition qualified (advantageous)

– Experience preferably in a similar Facilities Management / Building Services back ground
– Experience working with BMS Controls (Trend/ Honeywell/ Schneider etc) (Advantageous)
– Trustworthy and reliable
