Overview
We are currently recruiting for an Asset/Data Manager on behalf of a well established global facilities management company.
As the Asset Manager you will be responsible for the management of PPM systems and schedules for a wide range of buildings and assets across a prestigious government contract.
Responsibilities
- Management of the PPM system ensuring that maintenance of each site including utilities and plant is carried out in a timely manner and to expected standards.
- Liaise with and cooperate with the Regional Managers and any other associated users.
- Provide advice to Maintenance Managers and Supervisors on all matters of Asset Control and PPM Planning, Regulatory and Statutory compliance.
- Promote the planning and scheduling activities that will assist the Engineering and Building Fabric teams to maximise efficiency of plant and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain the Contract Asset Registers, and provide a comprehensive planning service to Engineering departments.
- Provide monthly reports to the Client, Head of Maintenance Services and Operations and Project Teams
- Liaise with members of the commercial and operations departments when new buildings and assets are added to the contract
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant legislation.
- Manage the development and maintenance of the database for O&M manuals and documents including the F-Gas register.
- Monitor and control the movement of plant and equipment assets throughout the life cycle of the operation.
- Responsible for obtaining competitive prices for PPM.
- Attend monthly Operations meetings and present the current status of PPM Planning and Delivery
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous demonstrable experience managing a PPM system
- Qualifications in a Hard Services/Facilities Management discipline
- Working Knowledge of Computerised Facilities Management System – (Ideally Maximo)
- Demonstrable experience working in a quality management system environment – ISO
- Expert in modern asset management and has a good working knowledge of ISO55000
- Thorough knowledge of contract compliance and statutory requirements
- Intermediate computer knowledge of standard MS Office package (Word and Excel)
- Membership of an appropriate institution such as CIBSE, BSRIA is preferred.
Successful candidates will require a Full Security clearance/DBS check upon acceptance of the position.
