Our client, a specialist Engineering/ Manufacturing  business, are looking to recruit a Electrical Design Engineer to join the business on a 6 Month Contract to aid with a large project. The successful candidate will have previous experience designing a range of electrical systems including wiring distribution systems, power distribution systems, electric motor design. Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in an Electrical related discipline with demonstrable experience in electrical design. Experience working within the Subsea/ Oil and Gas sector would be advantageous.

Contract is due to start ASAP

Role Description

• Responsible for electrical/electronic aspects of the project.
• Preparation of new electrical drawings/wiring diagrams and the updates of existing.
• Produce design specifications and documentation to ISO 9001.
• Assist in the preparation of test specifications.
• To work within the requirements of company procedures and national and international regulations.
• To work within the timescales and budgets set by the company.
• Other activities as directed by the project engineer or project manager.

Qualifications & Skills
* Degree Qualified in an Electrical Discipline
* Previous experience with AutoCad
* Demonstrable experience working within an Electrical design role – Experience within the Subsea/ Oil and Gas sector would be advantageous
