OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Lift Design Engineer to join the a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy who operate throughout the Uk and overseas.

The Senior Lift Design Engineer will be responsible for site surveys, specification and design of lifts for prestigious new build and refurbishment projects throughout the Uk.

Role Description

  • Undertaking conceptual design, scheme design and preparation of reports.
  • Completing site surveys and specification analysis.
  • Liaise with clients and provide engineering expertise at each stage of single and multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Conducting audits and inspections on all Vertical Transportation equipment and reporting on technical, contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Manage the lift services maintenance provider and the overall service delivery to the end user client.
  • Undertaking lift traffic analysis and writing relevant reports.

Skills & Attributes

  • Hold a relevant academic qualification (degree, HNC or equivalent)
  • Chartered status is preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrate previous lift design experience ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Competent at undertaking lift traffic analysis, and ideally come from a lift contracting background.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
