Our client, a leading manufacturer of refrigeration plant for the commercial/ retail industry are looking to recruit a Lagger on a permanent basis due to increase in workload. The successful candidate will be required to lag all pipework as part of the manufacturing process – you may also be asked to help with other duties within the manufacturing cell. Candidates will ideally have experience in lagging of pipework – experinece with Armacell/Armaflex would be advantageous.

Role Description

– Fit, wrap, or attach insulating materials to pipe work surfaces following drawing/specifications.
– Read drawings and select appropriate insulation, based on the heat retaining or excluding characteristics of the material.
– Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces, using appropriate hand tools.
– Carry out other duties within the manufacturing process as required by the business

Skills/ Experience

• Demonstrable experience lagging pipework
• Full UK Driving License
• Strong work ethic + willing to aid in other areas of the business.
