Overview

Due to rapid growth of the business we are currently recruiting for a CHP Engineer on behalf of a leading international boiler manufacturer.

Operating in a number of countries they have over 10,000 employees around the world and are still growing in size. They have been established for over 100 years and are a leading manufacturer of heating systems, industrial systems and refrigeration systems.

As the CHP Engineer you will be responsible for servicing and commissioning a range of CHP units. You will cover a variety of sites throughout the South including hotels, hospitals and commercial plant rooms.

We are looking for a well-organised individual who has good communication skills and an adaptable work style. The ideal candidate will be an experienced gas engineer who has a good technical understanding of CHP systems. Although training will be provided for the right person.

This role would suit someone who is looking to join an industry renowned organisation with opportunities for personal developments.

Role Description

• Day to day responsive and preventative planned maintenance works across a varied and wide range of heating systems.
• Fault-finding and commissioning of CHP systems.
• Support the sales team in the development of sales.
• Attend training courses when required.
• Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.
• Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs.

Skills & Qualifications

• Domestic gas qualifications are essential. Commercial gas qualifications would be desirable.
• Ideally a good technical understanding of CHP units/systems.
• Electrical fault-finding experience would also be beneficial.
• Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment.
• Good communication skills and comfortable liaising with clients.
• Well organised and able to work on own initiative.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving License.
