We are recruiting for a Head of Acoustics to join the expanding Acoustics division at a leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Central London.
The Head of Acoustics will be responsible for the management and development of high end Acoustics projects from planning right through to design, construction and completion.
Role Description
• Manage and develop the full range of consultancy services from feasibility and planning through design and construction to completion.
• Collaborate with clients, team members and senior colleagues on a wide range of projects across sectors including commercial, retail, residential, education etc
• Leading the acoustic input, undertaking predictions and writing reports on a range of projects
• Securing work and ensuring timely delivery to the highest standards
• Develop the acoustics team and support their professional development.
• Providing training to current and new employees.
Skills & Attributes
• Previous experience in the Architectural, Environmental & Building Services Acoustics arena ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Educated to Bachelor degree level in Acoustics (or closely related subject) and/or hold the Institute of Acoustics Post Graduate Diploma.
• Previous demonstrable experience of winning work and business development.
• Detailed knowledge and appreciation of the needs and perspectives of other design disciplines.
• Previous experience in the Architectural, Environmental & Building Services Acoustics arena ideally in a consultancy environment.
