We are recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our well very known client in Manchester. Candidates will ideally be 17th Edition qualified (16th Edition considered), with demonstrable experience fault finding and rectifying PLC controls and inverters. You must also have some mechanical maintenance experience. This is a Permanent position based on a Double Days shift pattern (6-2/2-10). Candidates must be from a FMCG background- ideally 2 – 3 years within a Food/ FMCG Environment- All overtime paid at £22 per hour
Job Description
• Reactive and planned preventative electrical maintenance.
• Maintenance of a wide range of plant including conveyors, check weighers, Blast Chilllers
• Ability to efficiently fault find and rectify PLC’s/ Inverters
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Must be able to prioritise work load to complete work as efficiently as possible to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
