The Opportunity

Due to continued expansion an exciting and challenging opportunity exists at this leading, well established Building Services Contractor for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to head up a newly created commercial division.

The Role

This will be a fast moving and very busy role working mainly in their retail sector. They will be looking to add a Graduate QS to the team, to cover the smaller quotes and to work under this position. Project values will be from £100.00 – £100,000.00.

This role will work part of a team, which will also include a runner, graduate and an administrator.

Responsibilities;

• Site Visits & Survey with the Client
• Preparing Schedule of works
• Variation applications
• Sub-Contractor purchase orders
• Cost accounts
• Weekly Cost up date to Director
• Delegating works to Graduate and approving
• Final accounting – Issuing FA certificates

The Person

• A qualified Quantity Surveyor, degree, HND or HNC with several years hands on experience working in the construction industry.
• Should be looking for career progression and continued development
• Clean driving licence
