OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Gas Support Officer on behalf of a local authority affiliated organisation in Redditch.

The Gas Support Officer will be responsible for providing an administration service to all of the gas team and manage the gas engineers work diary.

Responsibilities

  • Deal with gas reactive maintenance calls.
  • Take calls from customers, understand the customer’s request or problem and then categorize this into a job to be fixed.
  • Raise service charge repairs and process them.
  • Arrange appropriate appointment slots for customers.
  • Maintain the gas engineers work diary.
  • Record the details of a service or repair request and log them on to the reactive repairs computer system.
  • Place orders with contractors and process invoices.
  • Once gas repairs are complete, carry out quality check ‘call-backs’.
