Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Administrator on behalf of a local authority affiliated organisation based in Lancashire.

The Technical Administrator will be responsible for assisting the flood risk team in managing incoming work by validating data and providing technical support to the team.

Role Description

  • Managing emails for the team
  • Data gathering and interpretation of data
  • Validating land drainage applications
  • Desktop study of planning applications
  • Cross-referencing new enquiries with flood records
  • Develop packages of information for district leads to action

Skills & Education

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ideally a qualification in business & administration.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to interpret and use of maps.
