OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity

A phenomenal and exciting opportunity exists for an Infrastructure Engineer to work for this global leader in the design and management of multi-million pound high technology projects within the nuclear, petrochem, pharmaceutical and energy from waste industries. You will be responsible for assisting with the overall day to day management of the commercial and surveying aspects of new-build/install, refurbishment and design and build/install projects.

Essential

  • Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or construction related subject, BSc Degree preferable.
  • Minimum 2 years recent work experience relating to above role and responsibilities
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and logical skills
  • Able to work accurately with figures
  • Ability to work at various locations in NW Europe
  • Full UK/EU driving licence

Highly Desirable (but not essential)

  • Chartered Membership of RICS or CIOB
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Post qualification construction experience with an established sub-contractor or main contractor
  • Track record on commercial projects under varying forms of main contract/subcontract
  • Experience of package negotiation
