OVERVIEW & ROLE DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Administrator on behalf of a global market leader in combustion management systems.

Established over 50 years, they are the largest distributor in Europe for Ray Burners. They offer installation, service and maintenance services to a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, educational and leisure. They carry out a lot of work on Universities, Hotels, NHS, Museums, Car Showrooms, Food Manufacturing sites etc.

You will be joining a dynamic and growing team, focused on end-user engineering sales. This hybrid role will focus primarily on the office-based quoting for small works, parts and quick response items. You will also work closely with both the sales and operations team, acting as a key bridge between these departments.

This is a permanent position, based from Biggin Hill, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The salary is paying £25k – £30k per annum. Responsibilities                                                                                                                  

  • Produce and Send quotations for small & quick response items. All of which can be completed from the office.
  • Work with a growing team to deliver revenue and drive business growth.
  • Manage and develop the UK sales systems. Keeping all data up to date where necessary.
  • Assist with the UK sales team for all administrative sales tasks when required.
  • Assist with the Service & Support operations team when required.
  • Develop the efficiency and speed of quick response quoting and job processing.
  • The role requires a willingness to collaborate with a dynamic sales team and operations team. This may involve some technical information.
  • The role requires being able to effectively communicate technical information when required. Training and support will be supplied.

 

Skills & Attributes

  • A good knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • An interest in engineering, technology and manufacturing would be beneficial.
  • Very self-motivated and possess a willingness to be successful in your career.
