Continued expansion at this leading M&E Contractor, has created a new opportunity for an experienced Programme Manage to control the overall management of a team in the delivery of a revenue stream.
Consisting of multi-disciplined projects and support functions within the department, inclusive of the Health and Safety, Technical, Commercial and Managerial requirements, from bid, pre-commencement to practical completion. Ensuring that profitability is maintained or improved through effective leadership.
The Position
- Demonstrate appropriate Health and Safety leadership
- Ensure adherence to all policies, processes and procedures
- Ensure under direction, all works comply with Company standards and to meet and exceed client expectations, as well as the requirements to meet/exceed international standards and manufacturers installation guideline systems.
- To provide leadership for the managers Team and to maximise the potential of the team and the individuals within.
- To lead by example and actively promote the company values at all times.
- To manage the bid activity with the estimators and the Business Development Team
- Aid in the preparation of the business plans and budgets.
- Responsible for the continual accurate reporting of the Project Status.
- To create and maintain the project P&L and highlight all risks and opportunities
- To pro-actively manage all related activities to the successful completion of the projects in line with agreed quality and commercial plans
- Ensure that positive relationships are maintained with the customer through efficient delivery of projects with a view to optimising future opportunities and profitability.
- Ensuring design and installation meets both internal and client specifications and statutory requirements.
- Ensure the team are up to date with accreditations and have all the competencies required to deliver the project. Identify any areas where training may be required.
The Person
- UKATA (CAT A) Asbestos Awareness
- CSCS (or ECS) Card for Managers
- Project Management Certification preferably APM, Prince 2 or CTPM
- IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS or equivalent
- Able to demonstrate successful delivery and management of Customer Service contracts
- Sound Technical knowledge from within the Structured Cabling Industry
- ITiL and best working practices or Equivalent
- Commercial and Contracting knowledge of procedures and processes including NEC3 and JCT contracts
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent understanding of a Service Delivery Management and Services Lifecycle methodologies
- Proven line Management and experienced in managing virtual or distant delivery teams
- Strong Financial understanding of Profit and Loss Accounting
