The Opportunity

Our client is an established multi-disciplinary engineering and surveying consultancy. They have a broad client base ranging from small residential projects to vast commercial developments.  Due to continued expansion they are recruiting for an experienced Structural CAD Technician.

The Position

Produce drawings for building structures in all structural materials including steel, concrete, masonry and timber as well as sub structure drainage, external works and highways.

Liaise with structural engineers, clients, architects and sub-contractors on all drawing matters.

The Person

• Have a minimum of 2 GCSEs including English and Maths
• Ideally have a HNC in Building Studies or equivalent
• Have experience in AutoCAD (an advantage but not essential)
• Have experience in detailing reinforced concrete (an advantage but not essential)
