Overview

An exciting opportunity for the right individual has arisen to join Apex Engineering, located at our Leeds Office.

We are looking for a forward thinking, career hungry candidate to come and join our team at Apex Engineering.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking to start a career within engineering recruitment. The position will be, to assist the Construction Manager within our well established White Collar Construction division.

Working within this team will give you the opportunity to build your knowledge not only within recruitment and understanding the processes, but also enable you to learn about the construction market place and types of positions we deal with on a day to day basis.

As part of the role you will assist with a number of administration duties along with having the opportunity to build your own career path into recruitment, whether that is to become a Recruitment Resourcer or Consultant.

 

Role Description

  • Writing Advertisements
  • Updating internal systems with candidate and client details
  • Answering incoming calls as and when required
  • Adhoc Administration duties
  • Review Applications and assist with recruitment selection process
  • Responding to candidates through various methods of communication
  • Formatting Candidate CV’s
  • Working towards targets set by your manager. These will be discussed throughout your career and depending on what you want out of the role.

 

Skills and Attributes

  • Use your own initiative
  • Prioritising workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Feel comfortable making outbound and taking inbound calls
  • Previous administration experience is advantageous however not essential
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office packages

 

We have two shifts in the office which are 07:00 – 16:00 and 08:30 – 17:30. The shift you will work will be dependent on workload and internal operational requirements as decided by senior management. Flexibility is essential.
