The Opportunity
Having been awarded several new contracts this well-established M&E Services Contractor is recruiting for an experienced HVAC service engineer to join their service and maintenance team working on commercial sites in Yorkshire and across the UK.
General duties will include:
Overview
The work will primarily be based around the South and West Yorkshire and occasionally working further afield that will require overnight lodging.
The role will require you to service and repair all types of heating equipment, including but not limited to gas fired unit heaters, air handling units and gas fired boilers.
Call outs will be a part of your daily duties, therefore good experience and knowledge of gas fired heating equipment will be essential. You will need to be able work under your own initiative to quickly and accurately resolve all manner of faults and issues.
Minor plumbing works will form part of the job description at times (eg repair leaks and pipework modifications for boiler changes and or heater alterations etc).
We also have work available for a qualified air conditioning engineer to carry out both planned preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance to include air conditioning units, chillers and heat pumps etc and would welcome applications from multi skilled engineers that can cover this work too.
Qualifications & Attributes:
Fully qualified commercial Gas engineer with current ACS tickets, proficient in use of a computer and Microsoft Office programs
Preferable: FGAS Qualified, OFTEC Qualified and Domestic Gas ACS tickets
Company Vehicle
A company van will be provided for Business use.
Working Hours
The normal hours of employment are 8.00am till 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes unpaid break for lunch. You may be asked to work longer hours and weekends as work load demands.
Holiday
Annual holiday entitlement is 23 days plus statutory days
