Due to expansion we are currently recruiting for several Commercial Gas Engineers on behalf of a specialist building services contractor who supply their services to the Commercial, Education and Leisure Sectors.

Established over 10 years ago, they are a growing organisation who provide a range of Mechanical & Electrical maintenance and installations services to the commercial market. They also provide facilities management services and offer a design & consultancy service.

The Commercial Heating Engineer will report to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for servicing, maintaining and carrying out breakdown works on commercial gas heating systems.

We are looking for a well-organised individual who has good communication skills and an adaptable work style. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on commercial gas boilers.

Responsibilities

• Day to day responsive and preventative planned maintenance works across a varied and wide range of commercial heating systems.
• Response service fault diagnosis, repair and renewal works.
• Planned preventative maintenance works.
• Maintenance and upkeep of Plant Room and associated equipment.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure excellent service delivery and reporting concerns to your Line Manager / Service Desk immediately.
• Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.
• Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs.

Skills & Attributes

• Commercial Gas Qualifications are essential.
• Domestic Gas Qualifications would be beneficial, however not essential.
• Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Good customer service skills.
• Well organised and able to work on own initiative.
• Have good attention to detail.
