Our client is looking to recruit an internal sales engineer to join its well established team on a permanent, full time basis.
The successful candidate will be required to manage all internal sales in a Manufacturing/ Service environment to help in developing current accounts, liaising between a number of departments to ensure sales run smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within an internal sales role within the mechanical engineering sector ideally with exposure to Valves or Pumps. A solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering is a must for this role to ensure that the best customer service is given

Role Description
The successful candidate will have a range of duties including:
-Managing and evaluating incoming client queries
-Providing quotations and delivery information to secure orders
-Evaluating best delivery dates and utilising stock material as and where possible
-Liaising with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
-Developing strong customer relationships and establishing opportunities for adding value and delivering solutions
-Working closely with internal sales team and other colleagues to meet annual targets

Skills & Attributes
Candidates must:
– Demonstrable experience working within the Mechanical Engineering Sector within an Internal Sales role
– Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge – ideally with exposure to Valves/ Pumps
-Be highly motivated, driven and independent
-Have the ability to work well under pressure
– Strong IT Skills
