Position:              Electrical Production Maintenance/Installation Technician

Salary:                  £31,000 – £36,000

The Opportunity

We are looking for a time served electrical maintenance engineer to support our clients growing customer base. The role will cover small projects, breakdown, maintenance & installation work throughout Northamptonshire and surrounding counties.

Within this role you will be required to undertake small projects and liaising with customers. Work will involve electrical installation work as well as breakdown, fault finding.

This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied role to become a valuable member of the team whilst being able to work independently.

We are looking for someone who is keen and willing to learn will help to bridge any gaps in your knowledge with assistance from the rest of the team and training where required.

Responsibilities

• Repair, Maintenance and Installation work on a variety of customers sites
• Covering Industries such as printing, food, building products, quarries, health and education
• Travelling throughout Northamptonshire and surrounding counties
• Production breakdown maintenance work for our various customers
• Panel fabrication
• Part of an out of hours breakdown team, allocated on a rota basis

Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical Maintenance Technician
• Experience in production maintenance
• Good understanding of various types of transducers including level, temperature and pressure
• Knowledge of inverter drives and soft starts
• Electrical installation skills covering industrial and commercial
• Basic IT skills
• Understanding of electrical regulations (BS7671:2011)
