Overview
We are currently recruiting for an Electro Mechanical Fitter on behalf of a construction waste management company based in North Birmingham.
You will be working alongside the Facility Manager and be an essential part of the maintenance team working on the waste processing line.
Previous waste processing line experience is not essential, but general process line experience is essential.
The working hours are 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday, with rotation on ‘call outs’ to assist our processing teams with any issues they may encounter outside of these ‘normal’ hours.
Responsibilities
The relevant candidate will need experience working in a high pressure environment working with the Facility Manager and Shift / Team Leaders to ensure plant availability is above 90%. Preventative maintenance is key with all unplanned maintenance being reviewed to ascertain failure to reduce future occurrences, so organisation and planning skills are essential to ensure all preventative maintenance is carried out with all required equipment in place to promote efficiency. You will be working on a range of machinery including balers, separators, conveyor belts and shredders.
