We are currently looking to recruit a number of Platers to join my client in Leeds due to increased workload. The successful candidate should be time served trained with demonstrable experience in plating. Candidates will ideally have experience working on a range of materials to tight tolerances. Solid experience working with Stainless would be highly advantageous.

Hours of work Monday – Thurs 0730- 1600/ Friday 0700 – 14.00. This role is open to both permanent and contract staff.

All overtime paid at premium rates.

Role Description
• Experience in Plating on a range of materials (Carbon Steel/ Stainless)
• Experienced in fabricating/ bending/forming/ tacking plate.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills
• Demonstrate good understanding of weld preparation and pre heating
• Carry out work in safe conditions including manual handling

Qualifications & Skills

• Apprentice trained Welder/ Plater
• Experience working in manufacturing environments
• Demonstrate good understanding of weld preparation and pre heating
