Our client, a national electrical compliance business, are currently looking to add to their already well-established Electrical Testing division. After recent major contract wins, they are looking to recruit time served electricians with commercial testing experience to cover all testing and minimal remedial works throughout the local area (no working away required). The ideal candidate will be 17^th or 18^th edition qualified, time served with AM2 or NVQ level 3 electrical installation qualification. All training will be provided on the company’s very own bespoke testing software. Candidates must be able to pass a DBS check due to the nature of clients / sites they will be carrying out works. A company vehicle, fuel card, travel time, PDA and PPE are provided with the position.

The company offers a competitive salary plus a bonus scheme in place to boost earnings without having to work any overtime. Working a 40-hour week Monday – Friday with realistic earnings of £40k+

All new employees will be guaranteed bonus for the first 3 months to help engineers settle into the business.

Role Description

-The test and inspection of fixed wire installations across commercial sites
-Thorough completion of testing reports and certificates to NICEIC standards
-Remedial works to be carried out
-Mobile role working from home with van and all equipment supplied
-Work to be carried out to according to up to date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

-Must hold relevant qualifications and experienced in fixed wire testing and inspection
-Working knowledge and experience of PAT Testing and emergency light testing
-Fully funded company vehicle provided + fuel card + travel time
-Test equipment also provided

Skills & Attributes

-Ideally you will be a time served electrician, with at least 1 year experience carrying out commercial testing

-AM2 qualified / NVQ level 3 (desirable)

-2391 or 2394 / 2395 qualified (desirable)
-17th or 18^th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
-Must have a proven track record of testing and inspection of commercial fixed wire installations (essential)
