Overview

We are currently looking for a Domestic Gas Engineer to work around the Central London area on behalf of a national provider of energy, metering, monitoring, billing and maintenance services for clients throughout the UK including Authorities, Healthcare and Social Housing.

The Domestic Gas Engineer will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on Domestic Boilers and Meters on a wide range of properties throughout Central London.

Role Description

• Self managed engineer, to ensure targets are achieved
• PPM & Reactive Maintenance works across a varied and wide range of Domestic Properties
• Managing priorities within contract constraints
• Be able to cover a wide range of skill sets within the gas industry
• Responding to customer needs and building relationships in a professional manner
• Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLA’s
• Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours
• Experience in management of FM services across a diverse multi-site portfolio of facilities
• Exceed customers’ expectations whilst operating in a profitable and competitively way
• Be fully responsible for own Health and Safety whilst on site
• To manage workload costs effectively

Skills & Attributes

• Gas Safe certified (essential)
• Domestic Qualification – CCN1, CEN1, CRK1, HTR1, MET1, WAT1, CPA1
• Experience of domestic Boilers and Meters (essential)
• Previous experience of gas systems or multi-disciplined maintenance
• Sound interpersonal skills
• Experience and competent in health and safety legislation
• Record work accurately on computer based systems and work sheets
• Can work as part of a team
• Willingness to undergo additional training
• Participate in task audits / near miss reports
• Take responsibility of own actions
• Full Clean Driving License

Successful candidates will require a Full Security clearance / DBS check upon acceptance of the position.
