Our client, a rapidly expanding manufacturing business in Leeds are looking to recruit a number of MIG Welders to join their existing Day shift team due to an increase in production demands. The successful candidate will ideally be time served and experienced in MIG Welding with demonstrable experience in fabrication using Mild Steel. Candidates must be able to competently read engineering drawings.
Hours of work : Monday – Thurs 0730 to 1600 / Friday 0730– 1530 with all overtime paid at premium rates – currenlty 1 hour per day Mon – Thurs + Sat/ Sundays avaialble

This role will as a 12 week temp contract at which point the role will become permanent

Candidates must be willing to attend interview and carry out a weld test before being offered a start.

Role Description
• Experience MIG welding of Mild Steel Components
• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills
• Carry out work in safe conditions including manual handling

Qualifications & Skills

• Ideally candidates will be time served
• Experience working in Production environments
• Trained on MIG welding equipment with experience working with MIld Steel

• Able to read engineering drawings
